Why does each piece look a little different?

Our jewelry is handcrafted by Dominican artisans using natural gemstones. Variations in color, inclusions, and shape are not defects—they’re part of what makes each piece one-of-a-kind.

Do you accept returns?

Yes. Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery if items are unused, unworn, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

How do I start a return?

  1. Email us at from.myisland@thesunshinesite.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We’ll reply with approval and instructions.
  3. Once approved, we’ll provide the return mailing address.
  4. Ship your item back using a trackable service.

⚠️ Items sent back without approval will not be accepted.

Who pays for return shipping?

Customers are responsible for return shipping. We recommend a trackable service, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.

What items cannot be returned?

  • Custom or personalized jewelry.
  • Sale or discounted items.
  • Gift cards or digital products.
  • Items showing wear, damage, or alterations not caused by us.

What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at from.myisland@thesunshinesite.com with photos of the issue. If approved, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund.

When will I get my refund?

Refunds are processed within 10 business days of us receiving and inspecting your return. Your bank or card provider may take longer to post the refund.
